Chester County Futures Expands to West Chester Area School District (PDF

We are pleased that Futures has officially launched new program services in the West Chester Area School District at East High School. We are currently working with 12 ninth grade students at the high school and are in the process of bringing on 3 more students into the ninth grade program. At this time, the students are attending after school classes that have included guest presenters focusing on topics such as leadership, communication, goal setting, study skills, public speaking, time management...

Nowhere has the mission of Futures been so beautifully exemplified as at this year’s student awards reception, “A Night to Remember.” Held May 13 at Universal Technical Institute, the reception was an inspiring showcase of Futures’ students’ accomplishments throughout the year as well as a send-off for our 29 graduating seniors as they prepare to enter post-secondary education....

Seventy-eight golfers and supporters took part in Chester
County
Futures’ Sixth Golf Classic, sponsored by E-Tech Solutions
and held at Whitford Country Club on September 18, 2006. Golfers
enjoyed a gorgeous day for a wonderful cause. The tournament
raised over $40, 000 for the Chester County Futures program.
All tournament proceeds will be used to support student services.

225 Gather May 11 to Applaud Futures Class of ’06
Four years of effort paid off last month as the 14 members of Chester County Futures Class of 2006 took center stage at the annual end of year student awards banquet. The affair, held May 11 in Coatesville, included more than 200 family members, friends, students, board members, benefactors and mentors who have supported the graduating seniors during their high school years.

Teachers, counselors and administrators in the Coatesville
Area, Kennett Consolidated, Oxford Area and Phoenixville Area
School Districts arned extra bragging rights on the evening
of May 17. That's when 17 talented, motivated Chester County
Futures, Inc. students took to the stage at the organization's
Annual End of Year Banquet to reap the benefits of four years
of hard work. The 17 students have been a part of CCF's highly
regarded mentoring, academic and scholarship program since
their ninth grade year.

Chester County Futures is proud of
its 100% high school graduation rate and first class of college
graduates. Recent studies have shown that Chester County Futures
students are consistently exceeding the national averages
for graduation, college attendance and college degree attainment
among low-income and minority students.

Become Chester County Futures First Post-Secondary Graduates

We did it!!! In June 2004, Chester County Futures celebrated
an important milestone as its first class of students graduated
from college, trade and technical schools. Six students
comprised the initial class of post-secondary graduates, with
another five students are expected to graduate by June 2005.
